The Angel of Hove

The Angel of Hove, also known as The Peace Statue, was designed by Mr Newberry Trent, an English sculptor and medallist, in 1912. The bronze statue marks the boundary of Brighton and Hove and stands between Brunswick Lawns and the Esplanade. It was erected in memory of King Edward VII and the Queens nurses.
